State of Emergency = Martial Law??

february 24, 2006!

1 day before the celebration of the 20th anniversary of EDSA "People Power 1" ....

history did repeat itself...

when i woke up today, i checked my cellphone to see what time is it, but i saw several messages saying that classes are suspended in all year levels, i quickly rushed to the living room and opened the tv, there i saw Karen Davila saying "sinuspinde po ang klase sa lahat ng antas ayon sa deped!". haha! ang saya ko, walang pasok!! yet, nagtaka ako, what happened at bakit walang pasok ngayon??(hmm...) , then later i found out that there was a coup attempt!! woah! nakakagulat, i didn't expect that to happen..kasi parang wala namang nangyayari diba? tapos biglang ganyan na balita..

anyways, kahit na walang pasok, i still went to school to be with stephen and calvin for their mtap competition. :) but when i was on the way to school, i saw willard (with his dad) going home!! tpos pag dating ko sa school, nalaman ko na cancelled na rin pala yung mtap! haha! so we decided na kumain muna sa jollibee and after that, i went home!

at around 11 am.. President Arroyo made a statement saying that she is declaring a state of emergency because of the clear threat to the nation. then after nun, all the rallists are being dispersed and the leaders of the rallists are being caught and send to camp karindal. woah!

after this incident, napaisip ako, martial law ata ito eh.. because based on the bill of rights, all persons are innocent until proven guilty and andyan ang writ of habeas corpus.. tapos hinuli si randy david and company without any reason?? ang labo!! wahh!!!

I really pray that our country will resolve this crisis we are now facing!!

napadaan ako sa blog ni sir carlo nerecena, tapos nakita ko yung forecast nya para sa mtap sectorals...

sa 4th year, kasama sa top 3 ang sshs!! haha!! kahit na ako yung 3rd person (3rd wheel haha!) dun sa 2-man team na iyon, nakakatuwang isipin, kasama sa napili yung sshs.. hehe!!
